New Deputy
Principal Announced
As the
door closes on another school year Tenison Woods College is
already looking to the New Year when they welcome Amanda
Parslow as the new Deputy Principal for the College
following its announcement by Director of Catholic Education
South Australia, Mr Allan Dooley.
Mrs
Parslow takes up her position as Deputy Principal, for the
next five years, and brings with her 18 years experience and
extensive knowledge of education. Mrs Parslow has been the
Director of Organisational Development at the College for
the past two years which has given her the knowledge,
opportunity and understanding of the changing and evolving
world of education in the 21st century.
Tenison
Woods College Principal Pam Ronan said “This is a great step
forward for the College and Amanda has proven to be a highly
committed, competent and courageous leader, I am really
looking forward to working with her in this exciting new
role.”
“Mrs
Parslow is well qualified for the Deputy Principal’s
position at the College and I’m confident the school
community together with the wider community will be
delighted with her appointment,” Ms Ronan said.
Mrs
Parslow has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to
academic excellence, Christian leadership and pastoral care
that aligns closely with Tenison Woods College’s mission.
Known for her excellent leadership qualities, communication
and good humour, Mrs Parslow’s leadership style is sure to
maintain school spirit and community.

assist in leading our school into the future and through the
next phase of its history and growth.” Mrs Ronan said.
Mrs
Parslow’s vision for the school includes providing all
students with the opportunity to develop their potential and
achieve their best with a social and global awareness.
Mrs
Parslow in her new role will also be ensuring that
leadership at the school focuses successfully on improving
the academic and social outcomes of students, enhancing the
professional learning of staff and developing quality
relationships with parents and the community.
Mount
Gambier Catholic Parish Priest Fr Richard Morris
congratulated Mrs Parslow on her new position.

confident that her passion and vision will make her a great
leader. I look forward to working with her.” Fr Richard
Morris said.
