Tenison Woods College is one of a few schools
in the country offering a full time Basketball Academy.
With professional coaches, a
brand new facility and a class schedule designed around
basketball, this program is unique and tailored specifically
towards elite athletes.
At Tenison Woods College basketball isn’t
just an extra-curricular activity, it’s part of your
everyday.
Every day in the academy will
feature basketball related activities. These include
basketball classroom sessions, college preparation courses,
film analysis, basketball research assignments and sports
management courses.

The Titans academy is now in
its 5th year and is responsible for providing
many former student athletes with a pathway to college and
semi-professional levels.
The Titans Basketball teams
have a brand new state of the art stadium to call home.
Our brand new two court stadium
has just been completed. This stadium includes locker rooms,
coach’s offices, gym facilities, meeting rooms and
classrooms, and is among the best high school facilities in
the country.

Our coaches have
NBA, NCAA, NAIA, NBL, SEABL, Professional leagues and
National and International Championship experience. With a
director of basketball, a Head Coach, a strength coach,
various support staff, special guest coaches and a team
manager, our staff can give you everything you need to
compete and excel both on and off the court.

Every year the Titans will be
travelling to the U.S.A and various tournaments around
Australia.

orientated program. Homestays for out of town students,
season launches, team functions and fundraisers are just
some of the ways family and friends can be a part of our
program.

The Titans have partnered with
College Recruits.net, a U.S college recruiting service, to
give all of our athletes the best possible chance of
attending college in the U.S. Our athletes will receive
specialist advice from our former college coach on how to
get recruited.

Reaching your athletic
potential is easy at Tenison. Our athletes have a class
schedule that allows them ample time during school hours for
practise, individual coaching sessions, weights and
specialist basketball sessions. Get one on one advice and
coaching, and receive attention on every detail of your game
as often as you want. You will also have 7 day a week access
to the Strength and Conditioning Centre.
We focus on both aspects of the
term, 'Student Athlete'.
At Tenison our emphasis is not
just on you as an athlete, we make sure that being a student
is the first priority. We have tutors and academic advisors
available to our athletes and ensure all our athletes are
prepared for life after basketball.
